corrupt disk message bug driver

Corrupt Disk message - Bug or Driver problem ?

Been running Vista Beta 2 (32bit) for just over a week and apart from the 'Driver Problems' everyone seems to have covered in this and other groups and which I had expected being Beta, I have found Vista very workable and 'different' to say the least.
What is a little more than worrying is this 'Corrupt Disk - please run ChkDsk' Message, which appears every third (or so) session. Running chkdsk (at startup) through Vista appears to be ineffective as it goes through its paces only to finish with 'unable to correct errors bitmap image too large' (or something to that effect). In order to correct the problems I have had to use my Disk Manager (Acronis) via XP. Subsequently I normally get a couple of error-free sessions before the message comes up again.
I am currently running a four-way boot (Win98SE/Win2000/WinXP Pro and now Vista Beta 2) all on separate partitions (and plenty of Disk Space - 60Gb on the Vista Drive) and no problems there. The only difference is that Vista is on a partition controlled by a Silicon Image ATA/133 Card. The driver was accepted by Vista during installation, which went very smoothly, but am wondering if this may be another driver problem and the cause of the corruption or is it a bug that needs reporting.
I would like to use Vista more and put it through its paces a bit more but with the risk of data corruption I would rather re-install on a different drive (not controlled by the PATA Controller card) or even on to a Virtual Machine.
Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
